Job summary

Genesis HealthCare, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of facility repairs and preventive maintenance at our healthcare campus. The role requires hands-on work across the building, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks to support residents and staff.

You will be responsible for HVAC filter changes, equipment maintenance, and stocking supplies. The position supports supervision when the manager is away, ensuring smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry is expected.

Responsibilities

• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers.
• Change filters on HVAC equipment.
• Carry, lift and stock supplies.
• In the absence of the Maintenance supervisor, perform their duties.

Responsibilities

• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers
• Changes filters on HVAC equipment
• Carries, lifts and stocks supplies
• Assume Maintenance supervisor's responsibilities in his/her absence

High school degree or equivalent and basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.

Posted Salary Range
