Job summary

Genesis is seeking a Maintenance Assistant at RiverRidge Center in Kennebunk, ME. This role supports a brain injury-focused center and involves hands-on upkeep of the nursing facility and grounds, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents.

You will handle routine repairs, equipment maintenance and day-to-day operations, with opportunities to contribute to a specialized care team within a supportive community setting.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers.
• Changes filters on HVAC equipment.
• Carries, lifts and stocks supplies.
• Assume Maintenance supervisor's responsibilities in his/her absence.

Responsibilities
Walk-In Wednesday at RiverRidge Center!
Join us this Wednesday from 12 PM-3 PM at RiverRidge Center, 3 Brazier Lane, Kennebunk! Come meet our awesome team, learn about our unique Brain Injury center, and get hired today! We’re a special center dedicated entirely to supporting individuals with brain injuries—and we’d love to meet you!
Maintenance Assistant completes a variety of tasks to maintain the nursing center and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition along with a pleasing appearance.

• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers
• Changes filters on HVAC equipment
• Carries, lifts and stocks supplies
