Job summary

Genesis Administrative Services LLC seeks a Maintenance Assistant for RiverRidge Center to keep the facility clean, safe, and well-maintained. You will perform repairs, manage supplies, and support the maintenance team to ensure a comfortable environment for residents.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing, and carpentry. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and an hourly rate of $23.00–$25.00.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the nursing center and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition with a pleasing appearance.
• Perform a variety of repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, electrical equipment and safety systems.
• Replace HVAC filters and assist with other routine maintenance tasks.
• Carry, lift and stock supplies as needed and support the maintenance team.
• Fulfill maintenance supervisor duties in their absence.

Maintenance Assistant

Maintenance Assistant completes a variety of tasks to maintain the nursing center and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition along with a pleasing appearance.

• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers
• Changes filters on HVAC equipment
• Carries, lifts and stocks supplies
• Assume Maintenance supervisor's responsibilities in his/her absence

Qualifications

High school degree or equivalent and basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.
