Responsibilities

Maintenance Assistant duties include maintaining the nursing center and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition, ensuring a pleasing appearance.

• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri‑chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers.
• Change filters on HVAC equipment.
• Carry, lift and stock supplies.
• Assume supervisor’s responsibilities in his or her absence.

Qualifications

High school degree or equivalent and basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.

Posted Salary Range: USD $22.00 - USD $24.00 /hr.
