Qualifications

  • 4+ years of maintenance experience required.
  • Experience in HVAC, hydraulics, and pneumatics preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work overtime as needed.

Maintenance Helper | Royal Truck Body | Carson, CA


Regular Employee | Hourly Non-Exempt | $24.00 - 28.00


What you'll do:

We're hiring a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance across plant equipment and facilities. Your work ensures maximum equipment uptime and safety.

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment (welders, pumps, motors, hand tools, etc.)
  • Replace switches, sensors, valves, and other control devices
  • Complete work orders, inspections, and documentation
  • Fabricate or modify equipment as needed
  • Operate basic shop tools (mill, lathe, grinders, drill press)
  • Follow safety protocols and support 5S standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues
  • Operate forklift (license required)



What you need to be successful:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 4+ years of maintenance experience
  • 1+ year in HVAC, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical (120V-480V)
  • Forklift experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow written instructions
  • Must lift 50 lbs and work overtime as needed
  • Valid driver's license required
