Larkin Chase is seeking a full-time Maintenance Helper to join the team. The role involves maintaining the nursing center and grounds to meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and appearance.

Responsibilities include performing minor repairs on various components, changing HVAC filters, lifting supplies, and stepping in for the supervisor when needed. A high school diploma or equivalent and basic trades knowledge are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers.
• Change filters on HVAC equipment.
• Carry, lift, and stock supplies.
• Take on Maintenance supervisor responsibilities in absence of supervisor.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Assistant completes a variety of tasks to maintain the nursing center and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition along with a pleasing appearance.

• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers
• Changes filters on HVAC equipment
• Carries, lifts and stocks supplies
• Assume Maintenance supervisor's responsibilities in his/her absence

Qualifications

High school degree or equivalent and basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.
