Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) in Altoona, PA is seeking a Handyperson to support our facilities maintenance team. This full-time position involves cleaning, minor repairs, and maintaining safe, organized spaces across the site.

Qualifications

• Clear communication with customers and management.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and chemical safety sheets (in English; Spanish where required).
• Strong multitasking and prioritization to balance strategy and execution.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping and minor maintenance per standard procedures and site schedule.
• Clean rooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas; empty trash and manage recycling.
• Dust, wipe surfaces, and maintain restroom supplies; replace light bulbs and setup rooms for events.
• Report work progress daily to supervisor; operate equipment safely and per procedures.
