Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) has immediate full-time openings for a Handyperson in Bethel, CT. Join a fast-paced team responsible for maintaining clean, safe facilities and supporting daily operations.

Starting Pay: $17.50 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) with match, plus additional perks and company programs. Report to site supervisor and contribute to a culture of respect and service.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and management (English; some Spanish where required)
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions
• Critical thinking with multitasking and execution balance
• 3+ years' experience in building maintenance

Responsibilities

• Perform work according to standard procedures and site schedule
• Clean rooms, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
• Sweep, mop floors, remove debris, and manage waste and recycling
• Dust fixtures and surfaces; maintain cleanliness of restrooms
• Light carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and minor repairs
• Replace light bulbs and replenish restroom supplies
• Setup and teardown furniture for meetings and events
• Follow safety rules and report progress to supervisor daily
