Traders Village in San Antonio, TX is seeking a reliable Part-Time Handy Man Maintenance employee to handle weekday upkeep at our 180-acre venue.

You will focus on repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of structures, mechanical equipment, and basic utility systems to keep facilities running smoothly before weekend crowds arrive and maintaining property infrastructure to ensure a safe environment for guests and vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience in at least three core maintenance trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical wiring, carpentry, or mechanical repairs).
• Available to work standard part-time hours Monday through Friday up to 32 hours per week.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and walk/stand for long periods across a 180-acre outdoor property in varying Texas weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment, structural assets, and facility utilities.

Job Title: Handy Man/ Maintenance (Part-Time)

Job Type: Part-Time (Monday through Friday)

Starting Pay: $13.00 per hour (depending on experience)

• Systems Maintenance: Perform routine checks and basic troubleshooting on commercial plumbing, fixtures, and low-voltage or standard electrical infrastructure.
• Preventative Care: Conduct weekday facility walkthroughs to identify infrastructure wear-and-tear, structural issues, or mechanical failures.
• Safety & Compliance: Use power tools, hand tools, and maintenance equipment safely while adhering to venue protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience in at least three core maintenance trades (e.g., commercial plumbing, electrical wiring, light carpentry, or mechanical repairs).
