Job summary

SV Maintenance is a fast-growing maintenance company serving South Bay properties in California. We seek a skilled Maintenance Technician / Handyman to keep facilities in excellent condition, handle repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting, and perform routine inspections.

You will document work and assist with special projects and preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving abilities, practical maintenance experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance or handyman experience in buildings, equipment, or systems.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and systems (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, etc.).
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and address maintenance needs.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and materials used.
• Assist with special projects, renovations, and preventive maintenance.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician / Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong problem‑solving skills and experience in general maintenance, repairs, and facility upkeep. You will be responsible for ensuring all equipment, systems, and facilities remain in excellent working condition.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and systems (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, etc.)
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and address maintenance needs

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and materials used

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician, handyman, or in a similar role
• Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong troubleshooting and time management skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (car insurance must be valid)
• They will need their own power tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or certifications a plus)
• Ability to carry 40lbs
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Pay Rate

$20-$23 per hour, depending on experience
