Third-level seasoned vocational worker accountable for performing a variety of semi-skilled work in the alteration, maintenance, and repair of state buildings and facilities. At this level, employees work in and have general knowledge of a variety of trade areas, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, and mechanical repair in settings such as facilities and grounds. May oversee a crew engaged in maintenance tasks. This position serves as a career transition point for employees to either continue with this family or transfer to the Specialty Trades and Construction Family.

What you'll need to be Successful

The ability to perform a variety of semi-skilled work in the maintenance and repair of state buildings, facilities, and grounds. The ability to perform a variety of trade areas, which include landscaping, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and mechanical repair, in settings such as buildings and facility grounds
