Job summary

Ozark R-VI School District is seeking a Maintenance Level 1 staff member to perform general grounds keeping and light maintenance. Reports to the Director of Maintenance and works to keep school facilities in safe, clean condition.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, assisting higher level staff, following safety procedures, and performing other tasks as assigned. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work up to 8 hours with occasional confined spaces.

Qualifications

• General grounds keeping and light maintenance tasks.
• Ability to operate required equipment including tractor, loader and mowers.
• Basic computer skills to send/receive email and use the district HR program.

Responsibilities

• Maintains school grounds in attractive, clean and safe condition.
• Complete work orders as assigned.
• Assist Maintenance Level 2 and 3 employees in maintaining district facilities.
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed by all employees.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
