Job summary

Bradford Heights Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the facility's operations, perform repairs, upkeep grounds, and coordinate with other departments. The role requires following safety rules and maintaining the building in good repair while ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Local codes and laws.

You will assist with routine maintenance tasks and work with other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Background in maintenance work.
• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent related work experience.
• Ability to operate various equipment including lawn mower, weed eater, blower, edger, pressure washer, chainsaw.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the overall maintenance operation of the facility.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment and supplies.
• Follow safety rules, policies and procedures of the maintenance department.
• Maintain the building in good repair and comply with codes and laws.
• Coordinate maintenance work with other departments.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, lighting changes.
