Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a Maintenance Assistant at Hillcrest Village in Jeffersonville, IN. This full-time, on-site role supports the Maintenance Supervisor to keep the community safe, attractive and well-maintained for residents, staff and visitors.

The ideal candidate has stamina and teamwork, experience in basic drywall, plumbing, painting, or related trades; high school diploma or GED; knowledge of electrical, heating and cooling is a plus. Competitive pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior maintenance experience preferred - drywall, plumbing, painting.
• Knowledge in electrical, heating and cooling helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the community’s physical plant and grounds.
• Supports to ensure a safe, attractive living environment for residents, staff and the public.
