Job summary

Darlington County School District is seeking a Maintenance/Operations Grass Cutter/Landscape Helper for the 2025-2026 school year. The role involves maintaining the school grounds, including cutting grass and keeping the area tidy. A valid South Carolina Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide general maintenance of the grounds within the school district.
• Perform yard duties to maintain the school grounds in an attractive condition.
• Keep grounds free from trash and rubbish.
• Maintain building and premises clean and neat at all times.
• Report any necessary major repairs and/or damage of district property.
• Provide assistance in other maintenance areas as assigned.

Job Duties

• Provide general maintenance of the grounds within the school district
• Perform yard duties to maintain the school grounds in an attractive condition (e.g., grass cutting, trimming shrubs)
• Keep grounds free from trash and rubbish
• Maintain building and premises (e.g., sidewalks, driveways, play areas) clean and neat at all times
• Report any necessary major repairs and/or damage of district property
• Provide assistance in other maintenance areas as assigned
• Perform other related duties as required, as well as all other duties as assigned
