Tyson Foods is hiring a Maintenance Generalist for the Feed Mill in Magee, MS. This 3rd shift position runs Monday–Friday from 11pm to 7am with a base pay of $19.25/hour plus a $1.00 shift premium.

The role involves preventive maintenance and repairs on feed mill equipment, with relief duties in dispatching, batching, and receiving. Strong mechanical skills and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years related experience in an industrial setting
• Journeyman welding, burning, metal repair and/or fabrication skills
• Intermediate computer skills
• Clear communication with management, team, and vendors
• Willingness to comply with safety, electrical, and environmental policies

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair on all feed mill equipment
• Relief functions for dispatching, batching, and ingredients/receiving positions
• Assist in spare parts inventory control and procurement
• Follow Tyson policies including PM program, safety and bio-security guidelines
• Work in inclement conditions and physically demanding environment
