Job summary

Tyson Foods in Texas is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift to set up, adjust and troubleshoot production line machinery, learn Tyson SAP for work orders, and complete daily documentation.

Candidates need at least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience (or equivalent education), the ability to lift 70 lbs, stand for 12 hours, and pass required trainings. Internal candidates preferred.

• Ability to learn Tyson SAP for work orders and daily documentation.

**Job Details:**Must be able to set up, adjust and break down production line machinery. Must be able to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system. Must be able to read and write where required. Must be able to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc. Must be able to lift 70 lbs. on a daily basis and be able to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours. Must be willing to complete all required training for the job. Must possess at least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience within the last 12 months or education (i.e. possess industrial maintenance diploma or currently enrolled in technical school) in lieu of experience. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for a visit to the facility. Internal candidates will be considered first, if no internal candidates are selected, then external candidates will be reviewed.
