The ideal candidate has 3+ years of supervisory landscape experience, strong irrigation knowledge, and excellent communication skills. Arizona driver’s license and ability to be insured are required.

Qualifications

• Three years landscape maintenance experience at supervisor level.
• Experience with irrigation types, controllers, timers and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety laws and ability to conduct safety meetings.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license and ability to be insured under company policy.

Santa Rita Landscaping is currently seeking a full-time experienced Landscape Maintenance Foreman to add to our remarkable team of professionals! The Supervisor position is responsible for overseeing field production crews, is a hands-on working Supervisory position, doing landscape maintenance that will provide first level supervision of all field production activities within our Landscape Department. Must be self-motivated with a results-driven approach.

Responsibilities & Competencies

• Must be a strong personal communicator with the ability to get things done
• Must have in-depth knowledge of landscaping
• General, broad knowledge of commercial landscaping and working with Property Managers, Store Managers, General Contractor personnel, sub-contractors, vendors, etc.
• Renew current accounts
• Ensure Customer Satisfaction
• Work closely with the Department and Operations Managers
• Teamwork with Operations to develop field personnel

Additional Duties

• Responsible for initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation and teamwork within and between departments
• Resolves crew problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions & recommending action
• Focus on the customer while operating within the Santa Rita Way

Experience , Knowledge & Abilities

• Three (3) years landscape maintenance experience at Supervisor level leading crews
• Experienced in installing variety of irrigation types/sizes, programming controllers & timers and ability to troubleshoot

irrigation issues

• Knowledge of common name plant identification and ability to properly layout to scale
• Ability to accurately forecast project schedule
• Ability to accomplish results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, coaching, developing and building

• Knowledge of OSHA Safety laws and ability to conduct safety meetings with team members
• Be self-motivated and results-driven
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Requirements

• Valid Arizona Drivers' License and Ability to be Insured under Company Insurance Policy
• High School diploma or equivalent; degree in technical, engineering or relevant field a plus
• Must be able to meet physical demands of the job
• Bilingual a plus but not required
