Job summary

Morgan Properties is seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our community-focused team in Lafayette, LA. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residents' homes while delivering excellent customer service and support to residents and the property team.

Base pay starts at $21.00 per hour with benefits including medical, dental, and vision. Eligible staff may receive rent discounts, 401(k) match, and paid time off, plus on-call incentives and quarterly perks.

Qualifications

• Active, valid driver's license and a personal vehicle.
• Ability to live within a 30-minute commute of the property.
• HVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferred.
• One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair issues to keep residents' homes in good condition.
• Provide outstanding customer service and take initiative in resolving issues.
• Be on-call and respond to emergencies as scheduled.

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $21.00 per hour
• Up to 50% Rent Discount
• Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
• Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
• On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

• Generous Paid Time Off, including 10 holidays per year and sick leave

Schedule

• Monday - Friday
• Paid rotating on-call participation required
• Must be available and prepared for emergency events
• *Schedule subject to change based on business needs
