International Paper Company seeks a hardworking leader to oversee daily shift operations at the Bogalusa Mill in Bogalusa, LA. You will coach, develop, and lead safety-first teams, ensuring high performance, quality, and timely delivery while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

You will drive onboarding, set expectations, and resolve issues with mill leadership, applying facility policies and maintaining a safe, productive environment for all crew members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of operations, maintenance, and/or engineering experience in a paper manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated leadership ability in a manufacturing environment, including safety leadership.
• Integrity, motivation and leadership to develop and lead others.
• Strong organizing, planning, and time-management skills with adaptability.
• Ability to facilitate problem solving or conflict resolution.

Responsabilités

• Supports and leads safety efforts at Bogalusa Mill.
• Completes onboarding/proficiency curriculum.
• Coordinates and leads high performance work teams.
• Leads and guides team members to achieve goals and mill performance.
• Manages daily shift operations with focus on continuous improvement.
• Provides coaching, feedback and performance management to ensure a safe, productive environment.
• Communicates with team members and mill leadership on safety, quality, cost, production, and personnel issues.
• Implements facility policies and standards; conducts meaningful one-to-one discussions; motivates teams.
• Coaches employees to be safety leaders and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Meets internal and external customer requirements; supports process improvements.
