Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking team members for custodial duties and to assist the Fleet Maintenance department with daily tasks and supervision-provided duties.

You will support production, quality, safety and engineering in projects by providing resource support and keeping the work areas clean. A high school diploma or GED is required; prior food manufacturing experience is preferred; familiarity with SQF, GMPs, LOTO and Lean Manufacturing is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Previous food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of SQF, GMPs, LOTO and Lean Manufacturing.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Able to use a HILO to perform daily task lift up to 50lbs several times a day.

Responsibilities

• Daily custodial duties and assisting the Fleet Maintenance department with any other Duties given by Supervision.
• Support production, quality, safety and engineering in projects by providing resource support.
• Detect, resolve, document and report complex equipment issues.
• Practices 200% safety accountability (self and others).
• Perform other duties as required under immediate supervision.
• Site clean up outside and inside.
• Maintain shop cleanliness, common areas, and fuel island areas
