Job description

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - AEROSPACE MANUFACTURING
KEEP THE EQUIPMENT RUNNING. KEEP AEROSPACE MANUFACTURING MOVING.

When production equipment goes down, skilled maintenance makes the difference. Our Maintenance Technicians diagnose problems, make effective repairs, and help keep critical manufacturing systems operating safely and reliably.

As a Maintenance Technician at PCC Structurals - Carson City, you'll maintain and troubleshoot production equipment, facility systems, utilities, and plant infrastructure. This is a hands-on industrial maintenance role involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC, vacuum, and control systems.

We're looking for experienced Maintenance Technicians.

If you can diagnose equipment problems, read schematics, work safely around industrial systems, and take ownership of repairs from troubleshooting through completion, we want to hear from you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, facility systems, and plant infrastructure.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC, vacuum, and control-system issues.
  • Troubleshoot machine controls, automation, pumps, gas-fired equipment, lighting, plumbing, and building systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings, schematics, manuals, and other technical documentation.
  • Use multimeters, precision measurement tools, electronic test equipment, vacuum leak detectors, and other diagnostic instruments.
  • Perform equipment setup, repair, calibration, installation, and commissioning activities based on experience and assignment.
  • Complete welding, fabrication, conduit, lighting, and facility repair work as needed.
  • Support temperature and pressure systems, heat-treat equipment, SAT/TUS activities, and other specialized plant systems.
  • Complete work orders and accurately document maintenance activities, parts usage, and repair history in the CMMS.
  • Help improve equipment reliability, machine uptime, safety, and preventive maintenance effectiveness.
THIS IS A GREAT FIT FOR AN EXPERIENCED TECHNICIAN WHO...
  • Has worked in industrial, manufacturing, plant, or production-equipment maintenance.
  • Can troubleshoot across more than one technical discipline and knows when to dig deeper.
  • Is comfortable working with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Can read schematics, diagrams, technical manuals, and equipment documentation.
  • Uses diagnostic tools confidently and approaches problems methodically.
  • Understands the importance of equipment uptime without compromising safety or repair quality.
  • Can work independently, communicate repair status clearly, and coordinate with Production and Operations.
  • Takes pride in leaving equipment, documentation, and work areas better than they found them.
BRING THE SKILLS YOU'VE BUILT

Your industrial maintenance experience matters here. Whether your strongest background is electrical, mechanical, controls, instrumentation, welding, fabrication, HVAC, or multi-craft maintenance, you'll have the opportunity to apply those skills across a complex aerospace manufacturing environment.

This isn't basic facilities work.

You'll support production equipment and plant systems where strong diagnostics, safe execution, and effective repairs directly influence manufacturing performance.
