Job summary

Chandler Industries LLC in Blaine, MN is seeking a Maintenance and Facilities Manager to lead a multi‑shift maintenance team dedicated to precision manufacturing. You will keep CNC machinery, production equipment, buildings, utilities, and facility systems safe, reliable, and operating efficiently while driving TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will analyze downtime, manage maintenance costs, coordinate installations, and mentor staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of progressive maintenance experience in precision machining or contract manufacturing.
• Strong working knowledge of CNC machinery, controls, motors, and automation.
• Ability to interpret manuals, blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
• Knowledge of preventive, predictive, and TPM principles and OSHA regulations.
• Strong problem-solving, judgment, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, vendors, and maintenance documentation.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance staff; set priorities and expectations.
• Plan, schedule, document, and oversee maintenance using Limble CMMS.
• Provide hands‑on troubleshooting for CNC and related systems.
• Analyze downtime and root causes to improve uptime and reliability.
• Coordinate equipment installation, relocation, and commissioning.
• Manage maintenance expenses, spare parts, and inventories.
• Maintain equipment records and support safety and regulatory compliance.
• Promote 5S, Lean, and continuous improvement initiatives.
