Hours:

Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:30pm OR 8am–5pm (NO OT)

Team Size:

8 people on the facilities team

Job Summary:

The Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator supports daily operations by coordinating maintenance services, handling minor repairs, and helping ensure a clean, safe, and efficient workplace. This role involves working closely with internal teams and external vendors to manage facility-related requests, employee moves, and building upkeep projects. The ideal candidate will be proactive, hands-on, and detail-oriented, with the ability to perform light maintenance and patch/paint work as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate and track maintenance work orders and service requests
  2. Perform light repair and maintenance tasks such as patching and painting walls, fixing minor plumbing or electrical issues, and replacing ceiling tiles or lights
  3. Assist with furniture moves, employee workspace setup, and employee churn (onboarding/offboarding support)
  4. Conduct routine facility walkthroughs to identify and resolve issues
  5. Serve as a liaison between internal staff and external service providers
  6. Schedule and oversee vendor activities, inspections, and project timelines
  7. Manage inventory and supply ordering for facility-related materials
  8. Maintain facility documentation such as maintenance logs, inspection reports, and contracts
  9. Ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards
  10. Support emergency and after-hours response if required (though not typical)
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; further education or technical training preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in facilities coordination, maintenance, or related field
  • Hands-on experience with basic maintenance tasks (patch/paint, minor repairs, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and facility work order systems
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Positive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work both independently and in a team
