Job summary

Bell & Evans is seeking a Director of Maintenance Excellence and Reliability to lead enterprise maintenance strategy and asset reliability across all Pennsylvania plants. The role drives governance, standards, and continuous improvement to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-efficient operations.

You will shape workforce capacity, define performance metrics, and oversee planning, scheduling, and contractor management to optimize overall plant performance and total cost of ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, business, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Significant multi-site leadership in maintenance, reliability, engineering, or plant operations.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, scheduling, CMMS, workforce planning, contractor management, and parts optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise maintenance strategy and reliability across all plants.
• Define maintenance standards, governance, and performance expectations.
• Balance preventive, predictive, condition-based, and corrective maintenance.
• Improve equipment reliability, uptime, throughput, safety, quality, and total cost of ownership.
• Develop workforce capacity models and succession plans.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, backlog management, shutdowns, and outages.
• Own CMMS and reliability tools and establish KPIs, dashboards, and targets.
• Drive continuous improvement and cross-plant sharing of best practices.
