Boulevard Brewing Company in Kansas City, MO seeks a Maintenance & Engineering Manager to move our facility from reactive firefighting to world-class reliability. You must be a technical sharp-shooter, a calm leader under pressure, and a true partner to Operations, building a proactive PM culture and leading a skilled maintenance team.

The role oversees preventive maintenance programs, supports capital projects, and partners with Finance, Quality and Sustainability to improve uptime and cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 7+ years in manufacturing engineering, maintenance, or reliability with 3+ years leading technicians or technical teams.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on automated equipment and production systems.
• Proven success building PM programs, using CMMS, and managing outside contractors.
• Excellent team management, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Reliability & Continuous Improvement: shift to predictive and preventive maintenance.
• Team Leadership: recruit, mentor, and retain technicians; build cross-shift communication.
• Technical & Utility Oversight: guide troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, PLC/automation and process utilities.
• Work Management & Capital Projects: prioritize work orders, backlogs, planned shutdowns; support CapEx projects.
• Safety, Budget & Business Acumen: enforce OSHA, manage budget and ROI analyses.
