Job summary
Beyond Meat is seeking a Manager, Maintenance & Engineering in Devault, PA to lead daily maintenance activities and provide technical expertise to optimize plant efficiency. This role drives safety, quality, and operational performance while supporting capital projects and ensuring resources align with production goals.
The position requires overseeing maintenance teams, implementing preventive maintenance, and advancing continuous improvement of manufacturing and control systems within a GMP
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or technical degree or equivalent
- 5-8 years of engineering leadership in FMCG/manufacturing
- Experience in project management, facilities management or process engineering
- Strong engineering problem-solving with GMP knowledge
- Leadership capabilities coordinating cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of CMMS, PLCs, AutoCAD and root cause analysis
- Commitment to safety and quality standards (GMP)
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage site capital projects and maintenance plans within budgets
- Provide technical input for process engineering and layout improvements
- Prepare project scopes, budgets, and business justifications
- Oversee daily maintenance activities and drive productivity targets
- Lead safety training and safety program adherence with leadership
- Develop preventive maintenance programs and strong operations relationships
- Lead maintenance supervisors and technicians and foster collaboration
- Oversee installation and repair of automated systems and equipment
- Monitor KPI performance with operations leadership
- Mentor staff and provide performance feedback and coaching
