Job summary

Angstrom NA LLC in Michigan is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Leader to own the reliability of production assets, drive uptime, safety, and compliance while partnering closely with Production.

You will plan installations, lead troubleshooting, manage preventive and predictive maintenance, supervise contractors, maintain 5S, and coordinate with Production and Purchasing to protect uptime and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience leading industrial maintenance in a production environment.
• Proficiency with PM/PdM systems, troubleshooting, and emergency response.
• Familiarity with 5S, OEE, MTTR, MTBF metrics and improvement methods.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute installation, commissioning, and maintenance for machinery and equipment.
• Lead troubleshooting to minimize downtime and stabilize production.
• Build, schedule, and track preventive and predictive maintenance; maintain complete records.
• Manage emergency repairs for equipment across the entire plant.
• Direct and supervise external contractors; verify scope, quality, and safety compliance.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping via 5S and enforce company safety policies.
• Coordinate with Production to align on daily plans and meet company objectives.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to secure spares, tooling, and supplies.
• Maintain critical spare parts inventory to protect uptime.
• Drive facility maintenance and support expansion projects and new plant layouts.
• Track performance trends (OEE, MTTR, MTBF) and act on insights.
• Document activities per SOPs and QMS; ensure Environmental and IATF 16949 compliance.
• Lead a team: train, direct, develop, supervise, and evaluate technicians.
• Identify risks, take corrective actions, and ensure adherence to powered equipment regulations.
• Participate in daily production meetings; execute agreed actions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
