Job summary

RAINMAKER TEAM LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the Maintenance Department in a hotel environment. The role involves scheduling daily tasks, implementing preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety compliance while coordinating with other departments to keep facilities in top condition.

You will inspect facilities, respond to guest and staff requests, and manage inventory and budgeting for maintenance activities.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading maintenance teams in hospitality or similar facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repairs.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration with other departments.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Maintenance Department and schedule daily tasks.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
  • Inspect facilities and identify repair needs; coordinate with vendors.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervision of Maintenance Department: Oversee and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Schedule daily work tasks
  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to ensure the hotel’s facilities and equipment are in optimal working condition.
  • Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to identify areas needing repair or maintenance.
  • Repair and Troubleshooting: Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests, addressing issues such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance problems in a timely manner.
  • Upkeep and checking chemical levels of swimming pool and spa
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies, conducting safety inspections and risk assessments.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
  • Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective practices.
  • Monitor expenses related to maintenance operations and control costs.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Order necessary materials and tools, maintaining relationships with vendors.
  • Training and Development: Up to date on training of best practices, safety procedures, and hotel policies.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests, repairs, and inventory.
  • Prepare reports on maintenance activities, budget expenditures, and staff performance for management.
  • Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as housekeeping and front desk, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Participate in departmental meetings to discuss facility needs and improvement opportunities.
  • Emergency Response: Act as a key contact for emergency situations, coordinating quick and effective responses to facility-related emergencies.
  • Ensure that emergency protocols are established and staff is trained accordingly.
