Job summary

The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis seeks an experienced Maintenance Engineer for its Facilities Management department. You will analyze, troubleshoot, and maintain BAS, HVAC, plumbing, and life safety systems to ensure reliable operation and safety across the facilities.

This role requires on-site, hands-on work and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team. Candidates should have 0–2 years in maintenance engineering or 4 years in engineering, with HVAC/refrigeration expertise and

Qualifications

Requires 0-2 years maintenance engineering experience or 4 years engineering experience.
Emphasis in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, or related field.
Refrigeration license preferred; experience with high‑pressure steam is a plus.

Responsibilities

Analyze, troubleshoot, and maintain BAS control sequences.
Repair and maintain facility HVAC and plumbing systems.
Monitor and troubleshoot life safety systems including fire sprinklers and smoke control.
Work with commercial kitchen equipment, water leak detection, and material handling systems.
Fine-tune environmental conditions for occupant comfort and energy management.
