Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our Milwaukee team.
The role involves traveling to and servicing various commercial properties in the greater Milwaukee area, performing preventive maintenance and repairs to building systems as required to satisfy tenants and owners. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, supervising building systems operations, coordinating vendor work, and performing repairs to lighting and plumbing.
This role will be going to and servicing various commercial properties in the greater Milwaukee area. Our Maintenance Engineers are responsible for executing and complete preventative maintenance, demand repairs, general repairs and adjustments to building systems, equipment and fixtures as required to the satisfaction of tenant and building owners. Some things you can expect to do:
Job Requirements: Must have general maintenance experience in the operation of commercial buildings and equipment. High School Degree or equivalent. Participate in on-call, after-hours and weekend rotation. Basic computer skills. Excellent verbal communication skills and a helpful attitude when interacting with building occupants. Valid driver's license, clear driving record, basic knowledge of computer applications and ability to lift 100 lbs. Ability to work from a ladder, work overhead, smell smoke and other chemicals and be able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions.
