Job summary

Danfoss in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a maintenance engineer to keep our manufacturing operations safe, reliable, and efficient. You will design and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to boost equipment availability and minimize unplanned downtime.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering and at least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical background.
Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance (mechanical, electrical, or automation) within a manufacturing environment.
Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
Experience with CMMS systems for work orders, spare parts, and equipment history; solid Excel skills.
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics and communicate clearly with technicians and management.

Responsibilities

Design and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to increase equipment availability and reduce unplanned downtime.
Plan, prepare, and schedule maintenance work with clear work orders, tools, and spare parts to minimize production disruption.
Analyze equipment failures and maintenance data to identify root causes, improve MTBF/MTTR, and drive reliability improvements.
