Aalberts Integrated Piping Systems Americas in Pageland, SC is seeking a Plant Maintenance / Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence through Lean, TPM, and structured problem solving. Responsibilities

• Analyse manufacturing processes and equipment performance using Lean tools, root cause analysis, and data analytics.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen events, value stream mapping, robots / machine integrations and daily management activities) to enhance safety, quality, delivery, cost, and innovation metrics including MTTR, MTBF.
• Develop and implement TPM programs to improve equipment reliability, uptime, and preventive maintenance effectiveness.
• Leads PFMEA to drive machine uptime, focusing.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC machining systems using diagnostic tools and engineering methodologies.
• Utilize ERP systems, CMMS, and data analysis platforms to track performance metrics and maintenance activities.
• Lead root cause investigations using 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and CAPA.
• Identify, prioritize, and manage improvement projects including automation and robots integration; ensure measurable results.
• Evaluate and improve production workflows through time studies, process mapping, and waste elimination strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable improvements.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare reports for plant leadership.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and PPE.

The Plant Maintenance / Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for driving operational excellence through Lean manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and structured problem-solving methodologies. • Analysemanufacturing processes and equipment performance using Lean tools, root cause analysis, and data analytics to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities, focusing on Single-Minute exchange od Dies (SMED), AM/PM implementation...etc

• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC machining systems using diagnostic tools, technical documentation, and engineering methodologies.


• Utilize software tools such as ERP systems, maintenance management systems (CMMS), and data analysis platforms to track performance metrics and maintenance activities.


• Lead root cause investigations using methodologies such as 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and corrective/preventive action systems (CAPA).


• Identify, prioritize, and manage improvement projects, including automation,process optimization initiativesand robot applications development / integration, ensuring measurable results.


• Evaluate and improve production workflows through time studies, process mapping, and waste elimination strategies.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, quality, and maintenance to implement sustainable improvements.


• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports to communicate progress and results to plant leadership.

• May supervise or lead cross-functional project teams and provide technical guidance to maintenance technicians and production staff.

work environment

• Regular presence on the production floor in a climate-controlled machine shop environment.


• Operate high-volume machining in a manufacturing setting requiring proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment).


• Including but not limited to: CNC machining centers, transfer machines, EMCO equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and an active tool room
