Job summary

Aalberts Integrated Piping Systems is seeking a driven Production Planner to develop, coordinate, and adjust production schedules, ensuring materials, labor, and equipment meet customer demand and support efficient manufacturing operations.

In this full-time role, you will collaborate with operations, procurement, logistics, engineering, and customer support to optimize performance, enhance on-time delivery, and drive continuous improvement across the plant.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in supply chain management or APICS certification.
• 2–5+ years of production planning, scheduling, materials planning, or manufacturing operations experience.
• Experience in a high-SKU manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and production planning software.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail to scheduling and inventory management.
• Hands-on experience with demand planning software (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate with plant operations to maximize efficiency, minimize waste, and ensure timely delivery of products.
• Analyze demand, inventory, capacity, and material availability to build accurate production plans.
• Create and maintain production schedules aligned with customer demand and production capacity.
• Review/release work orders daily to operations.
• Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and engineering to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address delays, shortages, or changes in demand.
• Evaluate raw materials, equipment, and labor requirements to ensure readiness for production.
• Address production issues and setbacks, including quality concerns, bottlenecks, or labor constraints.
• Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of schedules, inventory levels, and work‑in‑progress.
• Recommend process improvements to reduce costs, improve productivity, and enhance product quality.
• Communicate production status and issues to management and cross‑functional teams.
• Update customer support team with delivery dates.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by your manager

• Office‑based with occasional visits to plant locations. Will involve exposure to environments requiring adherence to safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Clear verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with all departments, vendors and colleagues. Specifically, upper intermediate (B2) language level in English.
• Exposure occasionally to a manufacturing environment that may include noise, temperature variations and moving equipment.

Regular travel to Aalberts locations for up to 20% of the time.
