Colonial Group is seeking a site maintenance mechanic in California to repair and maintain production machinery, pumps, conveyors, and related equipment. The role emphasizes safety, compliance with GMPs, and proactive maintenance within a fast-paced facility.

The position requires four years of journey-level experience, a high school diploma or GED, and forklift operation certification. You will work with the maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability and safe plant operations.

Qualificações

• Must demonstrate good judgement and problem solving.
• Ability to work with co-workers, management, vendors and customers within company rules.
• Must read and understand GMPs and safety procedures.
• Training in electronics, instrumentation, refrigeration, electrical, and general mechanical.

Responsabilidades

• Repair and maintain production equipment including pumps, pasteurizers, conveyors and machines.
• Maintain and repair support equipment such as boilers, compressors, ammonia systems, HVAC and meters.
• Be part of the emergency response team and follow safety protocols including PPE and confined spaces.
• Read daily utilities and manage inventories for parts and supplies plant-wide.
• Fabricate and install piping, sanitary equipment, steam lines and process lines with safety compliance.
• Document schematic and diagram changes and maintain accurate plant records.
• Work with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
