Job summary

American Fruits and Flavors is seeking Maintenance Mechanics to join our team in Southern California. The role requires skilled maintenance across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, welding, and related trades, with leadership responsibilities and GMP compliance.

Responsibilities include performing end-to-end maintenance, leading installations of new equipment, ordering materials, and keeping production areas safe and sanitary.

Qualifications

• Must have skilled working knowledge of maintenance crafts and at least one craft or trade (e.g., welding, electrical, PLCs).
• Must be able to read, write and speak English for administrative tasks.
• Leadership skills required and GMP/safety guidelines followed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform maintenance work from start to finish with minimal supervision.
• Maintain production equipment and support equipment in good working order.
• Enter work orders for necessary repairs and order materials as required.
