Job summary

Viceroy Hotels in Sun Valley, Idaho, seeks a Maintenance Engineer II to manage daily operation and reliability of hotel engineering systems. You will support the Engineering Supervisor in maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to luxury standards.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, system monitoring, safety compliance, and timely reporting. A strong focus on guest experience and collaboration with other departments is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in hotel engineering or related field.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, painting and carpentry.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance & Repairs on HVAC, electrical, fire, plumbing, and related systems.
• Guest Experience Support by responding to maintenance requests promptly.
• Systems Operation & Monitoring of building systems (HVAC, BMS, electrical, fire, plumbing).
• Safety & Compliance with OSHA and local regulations; PPE usage.
• Documentation & Reporting of maintenance activities and inventory.
• Team Collaboration with Housekeeping, F&B, Front Office and contractors.
