Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade certification preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in hotel engineering or related field.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, painting and carpentry.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, fire, plumbing, snowmelt boilers, laundry, kitchen, pool equipment, painting, carpentry, and concrete work in guest rooms and public areas.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment including HVAC, boilers, electrical, fire, pumps, kitchen equipment, and refrigeration systems.
• Maintain guest rooms including lighting, fixtures, A/C units, door locks, and finishes.
• Record equipment readings and maintenance activities in logs or CMMS systems.
