Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician to support maintenance and reliability across our production sites in Georgia.

You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment, troubleshoot issues, and fabricate simple parts as needed, using SAP for data and reporting. The role requires electrical/mechanical skills, HVAC experience, and a high school diploma or technical training.

Qualifications

• One or more years experience as a Technician and/or formal training or experience.
• Experience in HVAC; welding, electronics, electrical repairs, and industrial equipment installations.
• Formal maintenance training is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Performs assigned preventative maintenance tasks.
• Performs scheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
• Responds to and corrects equipment stoppage/mechanical breakdown. Troubleshoots when necessary. Repairs/replaces worn/defective parts, motors, control devices, etc.
• Operates machine shop equipment, hand tools, power hand tools, and makes required parts when necessary.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area.
• Practices and complies with all Company policies and procedures including safety and work rules.
• Performs other duties as directed by supervision.
