Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Maintenance Engineer I to support maintenance planning and operations for facilities and equipment. This role focuses on reliability, efficiency, and safe operation to back business success.

You will work with a team to execute maintenance activities and improve plant performance. Ideal candidates hold a technical degree, 1–3 years in facilities maintenance, and familiarity with building systems, safety standards, and CMMS tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
1–3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or related engineering roles.
Knowledge of building systems, manufacturing equipment maintenance, and safety regulations.
Proficiency with maintenance management systems, troubleshooting tools, and basic engineering software.
Experience with preventive maintenance and ability to interpret drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and implementing maintenance plans to keep facilities and equipment in safe, compliant condition.
Support engineering teams in troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing facility systems and equipment.
Participate in inspections and quality assessments to identify maintenance needs and ensure timely corrective actions.
