Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Maintenance Engineer I to support maintenance planning and operations for facilities and equipment. This role focuses on reliability, efficiency, and safe operation to back business success.

You will work with a team to execute maintenance activities and improve plant performance. Ideal candidates hold a technical degree, 1–3 years in facilities maintenance, and familiarity with building systems, safety standards, and CMMS tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
  • 1–3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or related engineering roles.
  • Knowledge of building systems, manufacturing equipment maintenance, and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency with maintenance management systems, troubleshooting tools, and basic engineering software.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance and ability to interpret drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing maintenance plans to keep facilities and equipment in safe, compliant condition.
  • Support engineering teams in troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing facility systems and equipment.
  • Participate in inspections and quality assessments to identify maintenance needs and ensure timely corrective actions.

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance plans and schedules to ensure facilities and equipment are maintained effectively and comply with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Support the engineering team in troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing facility systems and manufacturing equipment to improve operational efficiency.
  • Participate in inspections and quality assessments to identify maintenance needs and ensure that corrective actions are taken promptly.

YOU MUST HAVE

COMPENSATION

The annual base salary range for this position is <$67,700 - $86,100>. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
