Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic, experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This hands-on role maintains hotel systems, responds to maintenance orders, and supports guest comfort and safety across the property.

You will oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks, perform preventative maintenance, and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations. Prior hotel maintenance experience is preferred; the team offers growth and a comprehensive

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (2) years in a hotel maintenance position preferred.
• One year of college or trade school equivalent in mechanical, electrical, or technical disciplines is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms.
• Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations.
• Paints, replaces electrical accessories, maintains HVAC.
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs.
• Responds to maintenance orders in a timely manner.
• Fulfills work orders in a timely manner.
