Job summary
Schulte Hospitality Group seeks an energetic Maintenance Engineer to join our team. You will maintain hotel facilities, ensure safety and comfort for guests, and support a culture of hospitality.
This hands-on role requires practical skills across HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing and carpentry, with a focus on preventing issues before they impact guest experiences. Qualifications
- HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry knowledge.
- 3+ years in hotel maintenance preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms.
- Performs preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations.
- Repairs and replaces electrical components; maintains HVAC.
- Checks fixtures, lighting, signs for proper operation; maintains spare parts.
- Responds to maintenance orders promptly.
- Completes work orders in a timely fashion.
- Performs daily rounds and reports issues.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
