Job summary

Coury Hospitality seeks a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering teams at Hotel Citrine and AC Hotel Palo Alto. You will ensure reliable operations across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and life-safety systems to provide guests with flawless experiences in Silicon Valley.

You are a hands-on technician with detail-driven focus, collaborating with multiple departments to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of building systems: electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry
• Proactive problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
• Prior experience in hotel or facility maintenance preferred
• Familiarity with tools, safety procedures, and maintenance best practices
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest service and maintenance requests
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to extend the life of property systems
• Support the safe operation of fire alarms, emergency exits, sprinklers, and life safety systems
• Collaborate with housekeeping, front desk, and all departments to address maintenance concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Document maintenance activities and ensure compliance with company policies
• Assist with landscaping, snow removal, and seasonal exterior upkeep as needed

The Role: Maintenance Engineer – Champion of Reliability and Readiness

As a Maintenance Engineer, you are the vital force behind every flicker-free light, perfectly tempered guestroom, and smoothly operating system. You ensure the property stays polished, problem-free, and ready to deliver a flawless experience to every guest, every time.
