Job summary

Coury Hospitality seeks a Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering team at AC Hotel Palo Alto and Hotel Citrine, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel. You’ll ensure reliable operation of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and life-safety systems to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a luxury Silicon Valley setting.

You are a hands-on technician with a proactive mindset, ready to collaborate with housekeeping and front desk while maintaining safety, efficiency, and top-tier service behind the scenes.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of building systems: electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Prior experience in hotel or facility maintenance preferred.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and maintenance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest service and maintenance requests.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to extend the life of property systems.
• Support the safe operation of fire alarms, emergency exits, sprinklers, and life safety systems.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, front desk, and all departments to address maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Document maintenance activities and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Assist with landscaping, snow removal, and seasonal exterior upkeep as needed.

The Role: Maintenance Engineer – Champion of Reliability and Readiness

As a Maintenance Engineer, you are the vital force behind every flicker-free light, perfectly tempered guestroom, and smoothly operating system. You ensure the property stays polished, problem-free, and ready to deliver a flawless experience to every guest, every time.

What You’ll Do
