Job summary

Syensqo is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support machine reliability across site production and distribution processes. You will evaluate procedures, propose improvements, test new techniques, and provide specialized maintenance expertise.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering with mechanical emphasis or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing maintenance and storeroom interactions.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, operate, maintain and repair equipment as needed.
• Advise in preventative maintenance to keep equipment in good condition.
• Design and implement equipment modifications to improve efficiency and safety.
• Analyze equipment malfunctions and diagnose problems.
• Respond to maintenance requests across the facility.
• Support production teams with maintenance activities.
• Create reports and maintain maintenance records.
• Manage MRO inventory—order and track spare parts and equipment.
• Use ERP data to drive improvements and cut costs.
• Develop maintenance strategies (preventive, predictive, corrective).
• Troubleshoot and repair failures; implement improvements.
• Maintain schedules, repair logs, and performance metrics.
