Hampton Inn & Homewood Suites by Hilton in Downtown Cincinnati seeks maintenance engineers for full-time and part-time roles. Successful applicants will respond to guest calls, troubleshoot equipment, and perform basic repairs across guest rooms and public spaces.

Flexibility to work any shift, including weekends, is required. The role emphasizes safety, preventative maintenance, and keeping the hotel running smoothly for guests.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and make decisions.
• Willingness to complete safety classes.

Responsibilities

• Responds to guest calls and hotel staff reports of non-functioning equipment promptly.
• Troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment (e.g., pump and motor replacement), plumbing, electrical items.
• Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention.
• Program TVs and perform other engineering-related duties.
• Assist with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and AC filter replacement.
• Uses power and hand tools in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
• Maintain exterior of building and grounds as necessary.
• Demonstrates familiarity with life safety systems and takes corrective action when needed.
