Job summary

This position reports to the Supervisor of SWT, Plant Operations, and is responsible for carrying out both corrective and planned maintenance tasks as assigned. The Maintenance Engineer plays a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of healthcare services by performing maintenance on mechanical equipment and general building upkeep.

Qualifications

• Two years of plant experience working on mechanical equipment: Chillers, package boilers, cooling towers, Building Management System (BMS), HVAC.
• CMMS knowledge preferred.
• Experience in general maintenance: Plumbing, Electrical, medical gas systems, BMS controls, fire alarm, nurse call, temperature monitoring, carpentry, pneumatic tubing.

Responsibilities

• Carry out corrective and planned maintenance on mechanical equipment and building systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other critical infrastructure to support healthcare delivery.
• Collaborate with the plant operations team to prioritize tasks and maintain operational safety standards.
