Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• 2–3 years of formal technical training in electricity, mechanics, or HVAC.
• Two years journeyman experience in electrical installation, repair and maintenance from blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Read electrical schematics and diagnose issues.
• Repair and maintain production machinery and associated controls.
• Ensure safety procedures and high voltage work practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the engineering shop.
• Coordinate with Chief Engineer and plant engineers as needed.
