Job summary

Purestar-Group is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a commercial laundry in Las Vegas, NV. You will inspect, repair, and optimize production equipment from boiler room to floor, maintain preventive maintenance, and ensure safety standards in a union environment.

The role requires hands-on electrical, mechanical, and PLC skills, strong diagnostic abilities, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced facility with noisy, hot, humid conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2-3 years of formal technical training in electricity, mechanics, or HVAC.
• Two years journeyman experience in installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, fixtures from blueprints, schematics, and sketches.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly based on protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and shop.
• Lubricate equipment as necessary.
• Notify Chief Engineer if equipment is not meeting specifications.
• Repair, maintain, and optimize processing machinery from boiler room to production floor.
